June Wrap Up

I’ve had a pretty average reading month in June. No outstanding new favourites unfortunately but I did really like everything I did end up picking up, which is always a bonus! I’ve started a couple of new series which excites me and even though it was predominately fantsay I felt like I had a good variety of books.

May Wrap Up

I’ve had a pretty good reading month! I participated in the Tome Topple readathon that went for about two weeks of the month and I did manage to finish 4 tomes during that time. One book in particular I have been meaning to read for over two years now so I was stoked I managed to get to it and LOVE it as well! Though reading these long books did kind of stall my usual pace for the month. I realise 12 books is still a massive achievement, I just feel like I didn’t read as much as I wanted to.

Tome Topple Wrap Up

This wasn’t my most read couple of weeks during the Tome Topple. I had family visiting and I moved so there wasn’t really a lot of time for me just to dedicate to reading! However, I did manage to complete 4 books during this round of the Tome Topple and I ended up ticking off most of the prompts which makes me a Scholar!! The only prompt I didn’t really get to was to read an audio-book tome, I don’t like audio-books so I just skipped this one!

April Wrap Up

For some reason I have had the best reading month of my life! I know at this time a lot of people haven’t been able to focus on reading with everything happening in the world but it has really become an escape for me. This month I have never felt the need to take a break from reading or had to force myself to pick up a book, it’s been quite lovely actually. I ended up participating in two readathons this month the Smutathon hosted by Riley Marie on YouTube and I completed the OWL’s Magical Readathon which I will post a separate wrap up for tomorrow!

Stay Home Reading Rush Wrap Up

I didn’t quite manage to finish all of the books on my TBR and did end up reading a book that didn’t fit any of the prompts, but I figure I went with the spirit of the readathon and just stayed inside all weekend and read a few books that I actually ended up really enjoying!

The first book I completed was Harry Potter and the Philosphoer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling! This kind of fit the prompt of read a book set somewhere you wish you could go, because like who wouldn’t want to visit Hogwarts?!

The next book I completed was The Last Town by Blake Crouch. Purely because I had just marathoned the first two books in this series and wanted to continue on with the last book as soon as possible. This doesn’t fit any of the prompts but I did really enjoy the book!

And then the last book I didn’t actually end up finishing during the readathon I only got about half way through and that is Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo. This was going to be for the prompt read a book in the same room the whole time which I did end up doing, unfortunately didn’t enjoy this story as much as I hoped I would!
