Hello, my name is Amy Leigh and thank you so much for coming to my blog. I have loved to read my entire life and there is nothing better in my opinion than curling up on the couch or lying in bed tuning everything out and getting stuck into a good book!
My favourite genres are high fantasy, epic fantasy, YA fantasy, and every other sub-genre of fantasy that there is out there… I also really love romance, thrillers and mystery novels. I mostly read a lot of YA but I definitely love to throw in the some adult fiction or mystery thrillers to keep myself entertained. I also very much enjoy longer book series! A few of my favourites are The Stormlight Archives (pretty much every book Brandon Sanderson’s ever written), the Red Rising trilogy and the Brown Sisters trilogy is amazing!
I find that I’m not very nit-picky when it comes to books… I know what I like and what I don’t like. If I’m enjoying the plot or a specific character, I usually end up liking the book as a whole, unless it does something to really offend me in some way.
All of my reviews are 100% honest and are entirely my own opinions and thoughts.
My rating system is broken down into:
⭐️1 star- Hardly liked anything/ was disappointed
⭐️2 star- Had potential but did not deliver/ was disappointed
⭐️3 stars- Was ok but could have been better/ was average / Enjoyed a lot but something was missing
⭐️4 stars- Loved a lot but something was missing
⭐️5 stars- Loved it/ new favourite
