This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is a freebie and I thought I would take this opportunity to make myself a little more accountable by listing 10 books on my physical TBR currently that I have been definitely avoiding! This was a prompt a couple of years ago that I did and it’s still prevalent today as there are some books that even though I want to read just skip over for others.
Shorefall by Robert Jackson Bennett
Into the Water by Paula Hawkins

The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter
The Blinding Knife by Brent Weeks
Queen of Volts by Amanda Foody

These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling
The Sword of Destiny by Andrezj Sapakowski

Heart of Flames by Nicki Pau Preto

I love the topic that you picked this week! I’m the same with The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle I’m not sure if I’m going to love it or hate it!

I’ve been meaning to read it for years now 😆 hopefully very soon I bite the bullet!

Haha, having just had a clear out of my bookshelves – to make space for more, obviously – the books I’ve been avoiding reading are now in my local charity bookshop!

Haha space on our shelves is a conundrum for all of us it seems 😆

Great topic pick, I have quite a few books on my TBR as well that though I want to read I find myself reading anything but them often 💜

Skip Evelyn Hardcastle, great concept but the execution was a mess.

I’ve definitely been hearing mixed reviews about it! I’m still intrigued though 🤔

Sometimes it takes a while to decide if you actually want to read a book. Good for you for not rushing it. 🙂

Great topic! I tend to avoir big books, though I’ve been doing better this year with those. I hope you enjoy all of these! The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle was a lot of fun, I had a hard time putting it down.

Normally long books are fine with me but lately I’ve been skipping over them 😆

I read Queen of Volts last year and was slightly disappointed, it was ultimately a satisfying finale, so that was good, but it was quite slow paced!
