Buzzword Reading Challenge

If you are unaware what the Buzzword Readathon/Challenge is see my prior post HERE. Last month the buzzword was house/home and unfortunately I didn’t end up completing anything but I will endeavour to catch up in the coming months! However, I am excited to continue on with this challenge and complete this months buzzword which is:

This month the buzzword theme is name/title and just like last month I have a couple of options:

Opening Lines

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is a freebie so I decided to go with a prompt from around this time last year which was opening lines. Just like last year I decided to go with the first line from 10 books on my physical TBR! These are all very high on my reading list and seeing some of these opening lines definitely makes me excited to get into a few of them!!

January TBR

This month is going to be pretty crazy so I am not going to put too much pressure on myself to complete this TBR. What I will endeavour to do is complete some of the series continuations I have going at the moment. Some of these books I have been anticipating for the longest time and I still haven’t read them yet so they are going to the top of my reading list for 2021!

My January TBR consists of:

☀️ Summer TBR ☀️

So I’m a week early for Top 10 Tuesday but it is time again for our seasonal TBR’s. I have been going pretty well with these over the year, I usually end up reading at least 50% of the books I pick over the course of the three months. So for this summer, I am not really buying many new books I am going to try and get to my physical TBR which are:

The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

Heart of Flames by Nicki Pau Preto

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

A Song Below Water by Bethany C. Morrow

Shorefall by Robert Jackson Bennett

The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter

These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling

The Girl and the Stars by Mark Lawrence

Queen of Volts by Amanda Foody

The Deck of Omens by Christine Lynn Herman
