Out of your 5 star picks I read and really liked ‘Birthday’ and ‘The Test.’ I haven’t read ‘Middlegame’ by Seanan McGuire but I’ve read all the novellas in her ‘Wayward Children’ series and I thought they were great, so I bet her other stuff is too. 🙂
