This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is my ten most recent books I have read and my thoughts on each book!

The Girl and the Stars by Mark Lawrence – Underwhelming unfortunately

These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong – Just ok, will definitely be continuing on

Catherine House by Elisabeth Thomas – This was strange

When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain by Nghi Vo – I was invested, definitely unlike anything I’ve read before

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig – Poignant, relevant & impactful

Across the Green Grass Fields by Seanan McGuire – I really enjoyed this

Come Tumbling Down by Seanan McGuire – the series is slowly getting better as I read through

Well Played by Jen DeLuca – was an enjoyable, romantic, fun read

The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin – lived up to the hype

In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire – Just an ok one for me

Great list! love it.

The ‘Wayward Children’ series is amazing! I actually really liked ‘In an Absent Dream,’ I thought ‘Under the Sugar Sky’ was the weakest book out of all of them.

I’ve just found them all ok really, I think they’re all just a little to short for me.. I’m always left needing more 😊

I’m a sucker for short books because I tend to have a short attention span with reading. Have you read any of Seanan McGuire’s longer stuff? 🙂

Yeah and see I like the longer more in depth books when reading haha I’ve read Middlegame which was another ok one for me & Into the Drowning Deep which I really enjoyed 😊
