I am very proud of my progress this month! As I said I have been on holidays in February so I did have more than enough time for reading but I tried not to let it take over my holidays. I did enjoy myself and have a bit of a break from reading throughout the month but I did still manage to get quite a bit done!

Earlier this month I completed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! I really enjoyed my reread of this book in particular. I think as the series progresses they books just continue to showcase how complex the plot is and how engaging and charming all of the characters are. The Goblet of Fire is among one of my favourites and I am still loving my experience rereading this series. I love the introduction of the students from the different schools and how they contrast to the students at Hogwarts. It really helps to expand upon the magical community and broaden the scope of the books. The way J.K Rowling introduces all the new characters and incorporates them all so organically into the storyline and makes all the elements come together are just spectacular and I was once again swept away into this magical world!
This month I bought the third illustrated edition of the Harry Potter series with The Prisoner of Azkaban and you better believe I picked it straight up and dived right in! This edition is so beautiful and it just enhances the reading experience so much. I haven’t read The Prisoner of Azkaban in a few years now and I was enthralled. The intricacies in the storyline and how everything matches up together in the different timelines is genius! The illustrated edition of The Goblet of Fire should come out later this year which is sooooo exciting, I can’t wait to see all of the dragons and the delegates from the different schools, Madame Maxime! I am definitely not waiting until then to continue with my reread of the series, I will just have to skim through when it comes out.
So I’ve decided that it’s high time that I do a reread of the Harry Potter series. It’s been a few years since I’ve read all seven books in full, I usually just reread The Deathly Hallows as it’s my favourite book in the series!
