5 Books/Series I want to Reread in 2019

The first series I want to reread this year is The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling. If you follow my blog you would know I am currently in the middle of a reread of this series. I have LOVED my experience so far and I will update you of my progress later on this month.

The second series I would like to reread is the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. I read King of Scars earlier this month and that really got me back into the Grishaverse so if I can I would really like pick these up!

Since I’m rereading the Grisha Trilogy it’s only fair that I pick up the Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo and give that a read too. One of my all-time favourite series out there, I was super impressed by this duology and it’s been nearly 3 years since I’ve read these books so I am very overdue.

The fourth book I would like to read again is Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. This is solely in preparation for the second book of the series that comes out on the 5th of March. This book was so hyped that I read it too quickly and didn’t retain enough of the plot or developed a connection to the characters, so I kind of want to take my time and give it another read before I pick up Children of Virtue and Vengeance.

The last book I’m hoping to reread this year is Vicious by V.E. Schwab. Similar to Children of Blood and Bone I do want to get around to reading Vengeful this year but since it’s been around 2 ½ years since I read Vicious I do want to pick it up again and get reacquainted with the storyline.

⚡️Harry Potter Update⚡️

img_2772This month I bought the third illustrated edition of the Harry Potter series with The Prisoner of Azkaban and you better believe I picked it straight up and dived right in! This edition is so beautiful and it just enhances the reading experience so much. I haven’t read The Prisoner of Azkaban in a few years now and I was enthralled. The intricacies in the storyline and how everything matches up together in the different timelines is genius! The illustrated edition of The Goblet of Fire should come out later this year which is sooooo exciting, I can’t wait to see all of the dragons and the delegates from the different schools, Madame Maxime! I am definitely not waiting until then to continue with my reread of the series, I will just have to skim through when it comes out.

⚡️Harry Potter Update⚡️

img_2565So I couldn’t help myself and finished The Philosopher’s Stone and continued straight onto my other illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets that I also got for Christmas. I finished it in one sitting and can I just say how incredibly beautiful these editions are, the illustrations just enhanced the experience sooo much and I am loving my rereads so far! I am itching to continue on with The Prisoner of Azkaban but I want to get my hands on the third illustrated edition first. I was really hoping to drag my readings out and maybe do one a month and that way it was take up most of the year, but I really can’t see that happening. I am loving diving into this world again so much that I think I will be bingeing the series and finishing quite soon! I won’t be doing reviews on the books, I want to stick to reviewing what’s on my TBR’s every month, I think I will just continue to give updates!

⚡️Harry Potter Series Reread⚡️

img_2564So I’ve decided that it’s high time that I do a reread of the Harry Potter series. It’s been a few years since I’ve read all seven books in full, I usually just reread The Deathly Hallows as it’s my favourite book in the series! So I’ll be starting with this beautiful illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone that I received for Christmas! I’m going to read them outside of my set TBR for every month and I’m thinking these books are just going to be a spur of the moment pick up whenever I’m in the mood for a little magic!
