I seen this Tag floating around a few different blogs and thought why not I haven’t done a Tag in while!
Please see the original tagĀ Ā forĀ theĀ rules!
1: A book that you feel you need to read because everyone talks about it
The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi āĀ I didnāt actively pursue this book but because I had seen it on my social media soooo much as soon as I seen the physical book in a bookstore I had to buy it immediately!

2: A book thatās really long
The Black Prism by Brent Weeks ā this is the longest book on my physical TBR, 629 pages seems like a lot to most people but as a high/epic fantasy reader this is kind of average sized. Very excited to get into this series though!

3: A book youāve owned / had on your TBR for too long
The Host by Stephanie Meyer ā I seen it on sale at a thrift store and I thought hmm I have all her others book, why not? That was about 5 years ago now and I still havenāt touched it!

4: A book that is ārequiredā reading
(eg, school text, really popular classic ā something you feel obligated to read!)
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte ā Never got around to it, but I still want to read it just to be included in the conversation lol.

5: A book that intimidates you
The Diviners by Libba Bray ā simply because this series is very well loved and I donāt know if Iām going to love it as much as everyone else.

6: A book that you think might be slow
The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood ā Iāve been meaning to read this for a while now and itās on my TBR for this month but I have a feeling itās going to be very slow paced!

7: A book you need to be in the right mood for
The Astonishing Colour of After by EmilyĀ X.R. PanĀ ā From what Iāve heard about this book it deals with a lot of grief, and I really need to be in the right mindset to get into those kinds of books.

8: A book youāre unsure if you will like
Daisy Jones and the Six byĀ Taylor Jenkins ReidĀ – Iāve heard the synopsis and Iāve seen a couple of reviews already and this book just isnāt my style, but I still think I have to read it.

Love this idea! Great post!

The Handmaid’s Tale is decently paced and really short, if you don’t mind nonlinear storytelling.
Daisy Jones and the Six is sitting on my floor and I’m afraid to read it, too!!!
