Recent Additions to my Kindle

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is the most recent additions to your collection. I haven’t been buying a lot of physical books in the last year or so because my shelves are pretty much at capacity at the moment and I don’t have the space to expand upon my collection right now (also books are expensive lol). But I have been accumulating a lot of eBooks and reading more and more on my kindle lately so I have amassed quite a bit of a TBR on there.

These are the last 10 eBooks I’ve added to my kindle:

Jade City by Fonda Lee

We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Berry

The Storm of Echoes by Christelle Dabos

In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead

The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune

Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller

The Camelot Betrayal by Kiersten White

This Coven Won’t Break by Isabel Sterling

Buzzword Reading Challenge

The Buzzword Readathon is a monthly readathon created by BooksandLala on booktube. It’s run the first week of each month (1st through 7th) with each month having a designated word/word theme and you have a week to read as many books as you like with that word in the title. You can however use it as a year long readathon and read just ONE book each month featuring the monthly buzzword until you complete the whole challenge which is what I am going to do again this the year.

With January you can pick a book with any of the 5W1H (who, what, where, when, why, how) and my options are:

2022 Physical TBR

I thought it would be a good idea to post all the books I currently own that I haven’t gotten a chance to read yet. This will be a good post for me to come back to when I’m struggling to pick something to read and it will be good to update throughout the year to see how I’m faring as reading my owned books is high on my priority list this year!

My current Physical TBR is:

January TBR

I think what I’m going to try for the first few months of 2022 is going back to having a set TBR of about 8 books each month that I shall try and read. What I’ve been finding with mood reading the last few months of last year was that there was just too many options for me and it would take me too long to pick something and I would end up just not reading anything. So I’m thinking going back to having a set TBR will help me get back into the swing of reading regularly again.

My TBR for January is:

The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix

The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch

The Monarchs by Kass Morgan & Danielle Paige

This Coven Won’t Break by Isabel Sterling

Where the Drowned Girls Go by Seanan McGuire

Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong

Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
