The Last 10 Books Tag

I’ve been redoing tags that I did last year just to see how they compare so I figure why not continue on and do this one!

The Girl and the Mountain by Mark Lawrence

Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch

I don’t annotate books ever so none…

Aurora’s End by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen – I lent this book to someone and it was never returned

Vicious by V.E. Schwab – I bought a new edition that matches my edition of Vengeful

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff – my mum argued that she bought it for me but she didn’t lol

Lord of Chaos by Robert Jordan – It’s the only book in this series I haven’t found second hand yet

⭐️5 star predictions Update⭐️

Around this time last year I made a post about 10 books that I thought would be 5 stars so this is my update! I had high hopes last year when I made this list and unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to read them all.. I already only read 3 out of the 10 (yikes lol). I will very much be prioritising the other 7 books this year as I do think they will still be 5 stars!

Act your age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert – 5/5 stars LOVED IT

Witchshadow by Susan Dennard – 3/5 stars Disappointing!

The Girl and the Stars by Mark Lawrence – 2/5 stars Underwhelming

Opening Lines

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is a freebie so I decided to go with a prompt from around this time last year which was opening lines. Just like last year I decided to go with the first line from 10 books on my physical TBR! These are all very high on my reading list and seeing some of these opening lines definitely makes me excited to get into a few of them!!
