Most Surprising Books of 2021

These are the 5 books that I either picked up on a whim or had heard some bad things about and I was surprised I actually ended up really liking them!

Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff

I knew this was either going to be a hit or a miss and I was pleasantly surprised!

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

Had no expectations at all and loved it!

The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones

I was surprised how gory and strange this book was!

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig

Didn’t expect this book to affect me the way it did!

Fable by Adrienne Young

Hadn’t heard much feedback about this book but was surprisingly really enjoyable!

December TBR

For this last month of the year I am hoping to perhaps finish up a few series and/or get to a couple new releases I have been anticipating! Again I am just going to be mood reading throughout the month and picking up whatever I feel like at the time!
