Backlist Readathon TBR

I have made the last minute decision to participate in the Backlist Readathon hosted by gabbyreads which started today and runs through to this Sunday 15th March! I have been slowly trying to get through all the physical books on my TBR over the last couple of months and I figured this readathon coincides perfectly with my goals. Now I have two books on my TBR that fit all of the prompts, but I am going to try my best to finish couple more of my backlist titles this week as well!

Backlist Readathon TBR:

The first book I would like to read is The Black Prism by Brent Weeks! This fits the prompts for read a backlist you added as a recommendation from someone else & read a book on your backlist that intimidates you the most!

Reading Update

img_6351I am on holidays at the moment and haven’t been doing a lot of reading while I have been away…. It’s been nice just taking a break and relaxing and not really worrying about what to pick up next. The only physical book I brought with me though is Fire by Kristin Cashore so I think I will definitely be picking this book up next. I loved Graceling when I read it a few years ago and I bought the two companion novels straight away but they have been sitting on my shelves gathering dust ever since. I have heard nothing but great things about the other two book and by bringing Fire with me I almost guarantee I will be completing it within the next few days! happy-reading

Kindle Unlimited

Today I thought I would do a Kindle Unlimited update since I usually read about 3-4 books a month using my subscription to the service. I mostly use it for romance novels but there are occasionally some very well known fantasy books that I have already read that I have seen available as well. I for one love reading ebooks, its very convenient, using the Kindle App on my phone I can pretty much read anywhere, I’ve even finished a few books at work when I had some down time. I haven’t read any kindle unlimited books this month but I figured I would list all of the books from the last couple of months that I have read since I usually don’t review them on my blog.

These are all the books from the last 3/4 months that I have read from Kindle Unlimited:

Heroes of Olympus Series Reread

I have decided to continue my reread of a few of my cult favorites in 2020. I finished up Percy Jackson and the Olympian’s series a few months ago and I wanted to jump straight into the Heroes of Olympus series next! It’s been quite a few years since I read this series in full so I am very excited to get back into it and see how I feel about these books now. From what I remember I think I liked this series better than the original but I’ll reserve my judgement and comparison til the end of my reread!
