Make Your MythTaker Readathon TBR

I have decided kind of last minute that I wanted to participate in the Make Your MythTaker Readathon hosted by A Frolic Through Fiction on Booktube, for her announcement video click HERE! It looks like a super fun, pretty chill readathon with a lot of the prompts coinciding with most of the books I planned on reading this month anyway. I’ve decided to be a Witch, just because I’m feeling the witchy vibes this month but I may end up completing and adding another character if I can fulfil the prompts.

Tome Topple Wrap Up

This wasn’t my most read couple of weeks during the Tome Topple. I had family visiting and I moved so there wasn’t really a lot of time for me just to dedicate to reading! However, I did manage to complete 4 books during this round of the Tome Topple and I ended up ticking off most of the prompts which makes me a Scholar!! The only prompt I didn’t really get to was to read an audio-book tome, I don’t like audio-books so I just skipped this one!

2020 Asian Readathon

Read With Cindy on Booktube hosts an Asian Readathon that is held over the month of May for Asian Heritage Month, for all information please see her announcement video HERE. In honour of that I thought I would highlight a few books I have read over the last few months by APIA authors and a few I still have on my TBR that I am looking forward to getting to in the near future. I am not 100% participating in the readathon but I still wanted to highlight some of these books and authors and encourage everyone else to pick them up as well!Picture1

Tome Topple Readathon TBR

I’ve had a lot of fun doing small little readathon’s throughout the last couple of months so when I seen that Thoughts from Tomes on Youtube was hosting another round of the Tome Topple I decided I had to participate. The Tome Topple Readathon will be taking place from midnight in your time zone on May 9th to 11:59pm in your time zone on May 22nd. I have seen this readathon floating around Booktube for a while now and I have quite a lot of big books on my TBR so I figure this was a great way to finally get around to reading  a few of them. I definitely won’t be completing all of these books but I am hoping I’ll be able to either become a Scholar or a Sage!

Backlist Readathon Wrap Up

Last week I managed to read 4 books and wrap up a series I have been wanting to catch up on in a very long time! I was able to incorporate all of the prompts and surpassed the goal I set for myself so I am super stoked with how this readathon went! I decided to scrap The Black Prism that was on my TBR for the time being, simply because I find I’m in the middle of too many series at the moment and I didn’t want to start a new epic fantasy series of 6 books until I wrapped up a few I am already in the middle of.

The books I read for the Backlist Readathon are:

Girls of Storm and Shadow by Natasha Ngan

43558747

Frozen TidesCrystal Storm & Immortal Reign by Morgan Rhodes

173427012336726123367265

I really enjoyed this readathon! I liked being able to look at my shelves and prioritise the books I have been wanting to read for a while now. Like I said I wrapped up a fantasy series I have been in the middle of for over a year now and read a late 2019 release I have been putting off as well, I know if I didn’t read it this week I probably wouldn’t for months and months.
