December Wrap Up

This month kind of ran away with me and in the end I didn’t end up reading as much as what I wanted. However, it’s the end of the year, I didn’t want to put too much pressure on myself to read if I wasn’t in the mood and this is what happened. I had one really great read, one disappointing read and one fun, fast read so I feel like overall it was a successful month!

In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead⭐️5/5 stars

The Storm of Echoes by Christelle Dabos⭐️2/5 stars

These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling⭐️3/5 stars

November Wrap Up

I am very happy with my reading selections this month as they were all books that I was highly anticipating and I pretty much loved them all! It was a nice mix of thriller, fantasy and a bit of sci-fi as well so a successful reading month for me.

In November I completed:

One by One by Ruth Ware – ⭐️4/5 stars

The Obelisk Gate by N.K. Jemisin – ⭐️4/5 stars

The Stone Sky by N.K. Jemisin – ⭐️4/5 stars

October Wrap Up

In October didn’t do the best in terms of quantity of books however, I am still super stoked with what I managed to read. I ticked off two books that have been on my TBR for over 2 years each and read some new releases I’ve been highly anticipating even though I found them to be just ok! I have quite high hopes for November though and there are just sooo many more books that I am excited to pick up.

The books I read in October were:

Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard – ⭐️5/5 stars

Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson – ⭐️3/5 stars

The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton – ⭐️3/5 stars

Witchshadow by Susan Dennard – ⭐️3/5 star

Into the Water by Paula Hawkins

September Wrap Up

In September I started off with every intention of reading 8-10 books but I’ve just been super busy this month and I’ve found it hard to find time to pick up a book and read. And then when I would find that time it would take me forever to actually pick a book that I would feel like reading. I don’t think I’m back in my slump just yet but I need to prioritise relaxing, sitting down and reading more because it’s what I love to do!

The books I read in September were:

A Song Below Water by Bethany C Morrow – ⭐️2/5 stars

The Dead and the Dark by Courtney Gould – ⭐️3/5 stars

For Your Own Good by Samantha Downing – ⭐️3/5 stars

Malice by Heather Walter – ⭐️4/5 stars

August Wrap Up

This month was a little bit average in term of the amount of books I read, but I did enjoy each of them a lot so it kind of makes up for it I guess! I have high hopes for September though so hopefully I am on the upswing again.

In August I read:

Fable by Adrienne Young – ⭐️4/5 stars

All the Tides of Fate by Adalyn Grace – ⭐️3/5 stars
