It’s been a few months since I’ve done a library update so I figured now was the time! I have been really trying to utilise the library more this year and consistently borrow books that I’m interested in but not willing to buy. I currently five six books on loan from the Library: The Obelisk Gate & The Stone Sky by N.K. Jemisin, The Gilded Ones by Namina Forner, Dark Matter by Blake Crouch and Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzales. I have yet to read any of these books but I am very excited by my current selection!
I figured it was time for another Library Update! I haven’t been utilising my Library as much this year. I have really just been trying to focus on my owned TBR which is creeping up there. However, there are still a few books that I am interested in but don’t want to commit to purchasing so I am still going to be borrowing books throughout the year! I currently only have two books on loan from the Library: The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin which I loved (see my review HERE) and These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong which I have heard great things about but haven’t read yet.
I haven’t been prioritising any of my library books this month which is kind of a shame. I’ve only read one out of the four I currently have loaned out and that was Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust, I am going to try and get to the other though as soon as I can!
I figured it was time to do my monthly Library Update/Haul. I didn’t get around to reading a lot of the books I loaned out last month so I decided to just return them all and come back to them at a later date and just start back off again with some fresh titles. I am super excited with this haul as all these books are mostly newer releases and some that are my most anticipated releases of the year! At this time I have already read A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik and loved it, see my review HERE. But I am definitely putting Addie LaRue at the top of my TBR for sure!
I thought it was time to do another update about the books I’ve been borrowing and reading from my local library. Last month I tried to prioritise most of the books that I borrowed for my TBR as there were quite a large amount and there were a few that I was dying to read. Out of the 14 books I read in August seven of them were from the library so I would definitely count that as a success. When I returned all of those books there were a couple that I just had to grab as well. I’m trying not to borrow as many books as I have been previously as I do want to try and get my owned TBR down to single figures!
