I thought I would catch up with last week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt and do books I bought purely because of the covers without knowing too much about what the books were actually about. Hype definitely played a lot into most of these decisions, if a book has been super hyped on booktube or bookstagram and I see the cover in a bookstore I will most likely buy the book straight away.
I haven’t actually been purchasing books lately, I’ve just been trying to get through my owned TBR. Though there are some new releases and still quite a few books I accumulated over the Christmas period that would technically count as being my most recent additions that I wanted to list and keep track of!

Frozen Tides by Morgan Rhodes – 5/5 MAGNEO!!!!
Vengeful by V.E. Schwab – 3/5 stars I liked it, didn’t quite love it as much as Vicious!
The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin – 4/5 stars better than what I anticipated!
Black Prism by Brent Weeks –5/5 stars Why did I wait so long???
Girls of Storm and Shadow by Natasha Ngan –3/5 Epic journey, dark magic, heart-breaking betrayals!
A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer – 4/5 Loved the new perspectives!!
Wicked Fox by Kat Cho – 4/5 It was a rollercoaster ride!
