Books with School/University Settings

Once again it’s Top Ten Tuesday time friends!

Here are 10 books I’ve read in the last year or so that have a school/college/university setting:

The It Girl by Ruth Ware

I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston

The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake (kinda)

All’s Well by Mona Awad

We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry

The Monarchs by Kass Morgan & Danielle Paige

Where the Drowned Girls Go by Seanan McGuire

In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead

For Your Own Good by Samantha Downing

The Maidens by Alex Michaelides

Compelling Book Titles

It’s Top Ten Tuesday time once again! The original prompt this week is book titles that you find hilarious but honestly I couldn’t think of any books that came to mind. So instead I decided to go with 10 book titles that had me intrigued and compelled enough to want to pick up and find out what that could possibly mean.

10 Compelling Book Titles are:

You’ve Lost a lot of Blood & Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke by Eric LaRocca

Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune

Ring Shout by P. Djeli Clark

We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry

My Heart is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones

Comfort Me With Apples by Catherynne M. Valente

In My Dreams I Hold A Knife by Ashley Winstead

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power

New to Me Authors of 2021

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is new to you authors. I didn’t read as many books last year so there weren’t that many authors that I read for the first time that I would actively want to read more of in the future. However, I managed to find 5 authors I read for the first time last year that I will definitely pick up from again, whether it’s from their backlist or new releases!

Recent Additions to my Kindle

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is the most recent additions to your collection. I haven’t been buying a lot of physical books in the last year or so because my shelves are pretty much at capacity at the moment and I don’t have the space to expand upon my collection right now (also books are expensive lol). But I have been accumulating a lot of eBooks and reading more and more on my kindle lately so I have amassed quite a bit of a TBR on there.

These are the last 10 eBooks I’ve added to my kindle:

Jade City by Fonda Lee

We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Berry

The Storm of Echoes by Christelle Dabos

In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead

The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune

Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller

The Camelot Betrayal by Kiersten White

This Coven Won’t Break by Isabel Sterling
