In December I am going to be mood reading and just picking up whatever peaks my interested enough! There are sooo many books I want to read before the end of the year but I am not really fussed if I don’t, I’ve read a lot of books so far in 2023 and anything else I complete is just extra fun!
I can’t believe it’s time for my December TBR! I’ve only had 1 five star read so far this year so I would like to end it off with a couple more if I can, so this month is all about books I think I’m going to love. I branched out a lot in terms of genre in 2022 so I think it’s time to go back to fantasy books and hopefully find some new all time favourites that will make my best books of the year list.
For this last month of the year I am hoping to perhaps finish up a few series and/or get to a couple new releases I have been anticipating! Again I am just going to be mood reading throughout the month and picking up whatever I feel like at the time!
My TBR for December consists of:
This month I intend to try and complete as much of my physical TBR as I can. I am not putting too much pressure on myself to accomplish all of it because this time of year gets a little crazy!
This month I kind of didn’t want to give myself any expectations simply because I feel like I am on the cusp of a reading slump. I’ve been going so well with my reading in the last few months that I’ve started to unconsciously set this standard that I should be hitting and feeling very disappointed if I don’t reach this arbitrary number. So I have decided that December I am not going to focus on anything in particular I will just be picking up whatever books I want! I will list all of the books I have on hand that I haven’t read yet, if I get to them great, if I just end up re-reading a whole lot of books from my collection, that’s fine as well!
