Bookoplathon TBR

This month I decided to join in on Bookoplathon! I decided to do 6 rolls and made my way around the board and built my TBR for September through the prompts that I landed on. Unfortunately I rolled a couple doubles so I ended up with 9 rolls.

My TBR for Bookoplathon is:

Dice Roll Roulette (7 so between 325-374 pages) – The Night Swim by Megan Goldin

Favourite Setting – The Last Graduate by Naomi Novik

Autumn – Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

Multi Perspective – King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

Big Book – The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter

Community Shelf ( A Yellow Cover) – Recursion by Blake Crouch

Spring – Wild is the Witch by Rachel Griffin

Published/Set 2000-2019 – The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Chance – House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J Maas

Bookoplathon Wrap Up

As I said in my TBR post whenever I was in the mood to pick up a book I rolled and moved around the board and picked a book that corresponded to the prompt I landed on. For this particular readathon I only did 5 rolls, I was having a little bit of a slumpy month and I didn’t want to force myself to pick up a book just because it fit whatever I landed on. I did a pretty good job matching what I was actually interested in reading to what I landed on so I am pretty stoked with my results and this readathon. I thought it was a really fun, unique concept and I will definitely be participating in any future rounds. My rolls were: 8-9-5-8-5

Foiled Cover – A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown

Community Shelf (Read a book that matches the current season) – The Memory of Babel by Christelle Dabos

Chance – An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

5 Star Prediction – Blood Heir by Amelie Wen Zhao

Friend Pick – The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo

September TBR/Bookoplathon Readathon

This month I am going to be participating in Becca’s Bookopoly Readathon, for all information regarding the readathon see her announcement video HERE. So what I am going to be doing is rolling and moving around the board whenever I am in the mood to pick up a book. I know if I do all the rolls at once I am not going to stick to what I pick and will inevitable fail. So I am just going to take it day by day and when I’m in the mood to read I will roll the dice and pick books out of my owned TBR!!

🎲Becca’s Bookopoly Readathon🎲

I made the last minute decision about three hours already into the readathon to participate, which is pretty much how I roll. For all the information about the Readathon see Becca’s announcement video HERE. I have been watching her Bookopoly TBR videos pretty much since she started them so I was only too happy to participate in the first round! I knew I wouldn’t be able to complete all 8 of the prompts but I am happy I did end up finishing four books which was pretty much the overall goal.

The first prompt I chose was the Chance card pick from the 2020 board

For the second book I was able to combine both prompts of Culturally Diverse & Reader Recommends

The third prompt I chose was a Mystery/Thriller from the 2019 board
